Post scanning we move to our digital dark rooms where we take the RAW scan file or RAW digital capture and start work on the image. In an environment where the ambient light, monitors, reflective surfaces and proofing lightboxes are all seamlessly calibrated to the final print material we are able to make correct subtle adjustments which otherwise would be lost to the eye and the output process.

We care to preserve the colour and tonal dynamics of the image when going from RAW to Tiff. From this point on we work on interpretation together with the artist. When the interpretation has reached the point where the artist is satisfied, a print proof is submitted on the material/paper of choice. This proof is then analysed and any further adjustments are made finally resulting in the digital master file from which the final print will be made.
